Rhythm Guitar / Vocals

I grew up in a very musical family, learning how to sing along at an early age without even knowing it. My aunt has a beautiful voice and would ask me to sing along with her in harmony. It comes very naturally to me because of this.

When I entered my teens I began playing guitar and it quickly consumed my existence. I learned how to play along with the records of my parents’ youth which was mostly soft rock from the 70’s. Then I discovered Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Ted Nugent and AC/DC. Things would never be the same. Rock’n Roll became everything to me and I studied not only the masters but their heroes as well. Soon Chuck Berry, Elvis, Fats Domino and B.B. King entered my space. The Blues became a passion for a long time and taught me how to sing and play together.

When I began playing in bands, I quickly met some wonderful people in a band called Heather and Blacksmith and began seriously developing my chops. Joey challenged my playing and became my best friend. Together, the two of us have been through it all and I am proud to say that my involvement in one iteration or another has lasted for almost half my life.
